Wood tables as Bathroom vanities

Don't underestimate the power of simple, like how a simple wooden table can
be turned into the perfect bathroom vanity.

From these photos you'll see that really any table will do. However, it is best to
stick with solid wood. With all that moisture and humidity in the bathroom - especially if you are anything like me...I used to love taking long showers. Now I've semi-reformed, I'm down to 10 minutes, don't even ask how long they used to be...hello California Raisins fingas! Ten minutes is still WAY to long, I hear Jennifer Aniston takes 5 minute showers. I've got long hair like her, I don't know how she does it! I'm working at cutting my shower time down to 3 to 5 minutes. After watching so many documentaries on the environment it really hit home how horrible it is to waste so much water. Eek, there I go rambling. So where was I? Ahh yes, stick with solid wood if you don't want to have problems with your vanity. Reusing an old piece of furniture as a bathroom vanity is also helping the environment. So why not hit up Craigslist, flea markets, antique shops, garage sales and your grandpa for some old wood tables? Take a look at these pretty bathroom vanities for some inspiration.

An antique table like the one bellow is a great choice if you don't want to use a vessel sink.

I really like the look of the ornate carving on this next table. It just goes to show, that
using antique wood tables isn't just for rustic or country style bathrooms.

(btw, notice how they extended the legs on the vanity above by adding what looks to be  metal piping at the bottom? So don't discard a table if the height isn't right. It's an easy fix.)
